Mill Operator

Role/ Responsibilities: 

• Utilize Customer supplied product data, and datum schemes (GD&T) along with the customer specific standards.
• Utilize electronic data file job folder, which will contain the customer’s data configuration.
• Assist in design and development planning as needed.
• Maintain specific information on the NC sheet.
• Program machine to meet product compliance per the customer supplied data.
• Utilize mill software.
• Obtain and perform all approvals through various design stages and mill as required by the NC program.
• Update all engineering changes to the fixtures or check aids as they occur.
• Assist in solutions and resolve issues that may occur.
• Follow Quality Management System requirements.
• Log in and out of E2.

• Lock-out/Tag-out
• Time Management

Use of indicators, micrometers, calipers and gage pins
